Improving Workflow and Turnaround Time in Molecular Diagnostics Labs

During the pandemic, while using liquid handlers for extractions and PCR were useful for handling large sample volumes with accuracy (minimizing operator errors), the shortage of skilled lab staff created a bottleneck in terms of analyzing and certifying the results.

In this webinar, Dr. Pallavi Upadhyay discusses how automating lab workflows can help fulfill the demands for testing while maintaining high-throughput and mitigating staffing issues. We’ll discuss the importance of continually improving lab workflows by comparing pre- and post-pandemic lab automation.

Dr. Upadhyay will demonstrate the advantages of ARQ software, a robust, web-based (providing flexibility of remote access), and user-friendly data analysis software for quantitative PCR (qPCR) data analysis, including its ability to integrate with LIS to automate the reporting of results post-analysis.
